Providing love and care to our Gilmer Animal Friends since 2005.

A heartfelt thank you to all who support our Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter organization.
Your continued donations are greatly appreciated.

Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter, Inc. (FOGAS) is a Georgia, non-profit, tax exempt, 501(c)3, all volunteer organization. The purpose of the organization is to raise funds to promote resources and services to reduce the suffering of unwanted pets through community programs.

FOGAS provides this through memberships, donations and fund-raising activities.

Friends Of Gilmer Animal Shelter (FOGAS) would like to take a moment to clarify our role in Gilmer County.

Although we do try to coordinate with and support the Gilmer County Animal Shelter, FOGAS is not directly affiliated with the shelter, their staff or their volunteers.
